about the thickness of my skin.
Don’t tell me that I have
a layer too many.
What did you think
that I could take a bullet
and not bleed?
Don’t tell me who you are.
I know, I feel
and I am not blind
sometimes –I choose what to see.

Re: Don’t tell me Sometimes people think that we can take more than one bullet....just because we are not showing our feelings. We might look as rocks, but we have a heart. It was a plesure to read and feel your poetry. Hugs and kisses.
