Love and pain

One more day has just gone by,
and your letter didn't arrive.
I Know you are well,
because my god will never let me down.
You know that in my prayers,
your name is always at the top.
In my planet, stress is not aloud,
I said no tears, no broken hearts,
but loneliness has brought me sadness,
and sorrows to my life.
And they have deepen their anchors,
right here in my shore line.
The last memory of you, that I'd retained,
your birthday at the beach, the roses and the cake,
the sweet smile in your beautiful face,
your inspiring body, surfing with the waves,
the sparkle in your eyes...playing on the sand.
I wrote you many letters,
and I got no response,
I pleaded thru your mother,
I pleaded thru your friends,
but you decided to keep silence,
and I have to understand.
perhaps you feel that is better this way,
And I wish that I'd done the same,
But...for whatever is worth.
My love is greater than my pain.

Gus,
as you already know, los amores de mujer are mixed blessings. Trust me brother, I know how it feels, we often feel like shit, sorry, I mean stressed. But no worries, at one of my seminars ( poetas anónimos ) I combine tequila and love songs with assignments of writing more poems. It works. I’ll attest to that.!

This ritual gives you a lot more than just tears, after all, it leaves you with a tremendous joy and improves your writing skills along the way..
