kaylee too

Kaylee came to me
with an exciting proposition,
one that could take me to a happy place,
hopefully in the near future.

She seems to live well,
like there’s no tomorrow,
has a knack for creating dreams
and rainbows of poetry.

She’s always nice
has bright cherry lips,
a sweetness that erases pain
and a visit that gives me thrills.

I don’t know what it is
but the moment our eyes locked
we felt an inexplicable bond towards one another,
like known friends, yet, soon to become one.

“Fidel, it’s lunch time, are you coming?
- Kaylee, I sure wish we could do this together, all the time.!
She smiles.

I congratulate you, my dear poet and friend Fidel, for such a beautiful and romantic poem. There are so many ways to describe love, the way you have used is extraordinary. And the way you used to describe the characteristics of Kaiylee (How nice this name sounds in English, doesn't it?) is all worthy of admiration for its lyricism and romantic expressions. I consider that this poem does not end at Kaylee's smile, it ends in the mind of the reader who is pondering what would be the exciting proposal of the woman: source of your great inspiration.

thanks so much for your amazing message.
I happily agree, kaylee it is a beautiful name, as well as it having a beautiful sound. She’s my coworker, she has a smile that never quits, and of course, often than not, wanders the halls of my recent poetic life.
Believe me, I tried to describe somehow, the mystery of her young life, she’s 29 and I 52, but likes to hang out for lunch, and while waiting for the delivering trucks, in great conversations.

Whenever I can I take poetic notes from our moments, and honestly, it is a wonderful way to escape from my hectic work.

Every time we talk
I know poetry is playing in the background,
and she notices it.

Every time she comes,
early in the morning, I soak my lungs
because she smells like heaven.
I didn't believe in angels before, but now I do.

Dear friend,
even If my poem flows in a natural way, it required thoughtful ideas. Simply because I wasn’t born here.
Moreover, someone, or God, looks over me during my bilingual moments. As always, every poem, in either language,
is written as the ultimate simplicity, even if I’m a difficult dude.​
