prayer to the toilet paper

Dear toilet paper,
now that you've flown away from our shelves,
I'm rising above my pride to say, please come back to your shelf,
but this time to be loved, forever.

Your absence
has changed bowel habits
and it's felt around my house
each time I see your empty space.

We know you' been typically forgotten
or kept as a secret, but you've become sacred now or as a gift as delicate as petals,
beautifully wrapped in double sheets.

It makes me sick to my stomach
to think that your friend, " the paper towel"
could replace you, and I pray for it never to happen,
but if it occurs it should be treated as it is,
for matters of the kitchen only!

We all blame covid19 for your disappearance,
but cameras show that people, not this invisible dude,
flooded your world.

Most everything
I need is here and there,
but my rear view misses you, so dearly that I've composed
this charming little prayer because your absence is distinctly visible
and also, a great predictor for our future survival.

Amen.!

Back in 2006 ... one the poets of the time posted a satiric poem about
the absence of paper in a public restroom... but his tie became a life saver...and it was red.
can do with out.

I was getting tired of going to the store and not seeing damn toilet paper…in fact, I asked the store person that the toilet paper section should be turned into a shrine. I do not use tie...so, I will think about carrying one, a brown one for better effects, and for just in case.

I am glad I made you laugh. As well, I spent a wonderful time in the fields of imagination with this curious prayer for our intimate or gentle friend that comes to us in a paper form. It is a funny story but real because you cannot find a single roll of this softy little friend on its own aisle, but plenty of paper towels. I just missed it and it is sad to see its huge space totally empty. I do my shopping with dark glasses...I hope you can understand why that is... but, I am sensitive Mexican macho.

Hahahha you killed it, only explanation I will ever find for the lack of toilet paper now is this, what happens when someone sneezes now? The world’s ‘rear view’ Loses control and the only solution is....

About the prayer...that’s the sad part, I don’t know what’s ahead for us, but I’m glad to see some toilet paper back on the shelves, though, not the brand type but some shitty ones I never knew existed...these aren’t really, really soft or manufactured to the standards for the american's rear end.

Honestly, we’ve all been bent from our true nature to such an extent that we don’t know how to wipe our asses anymore….with newspaper or old rugs....furthermore, some ladies don’t even want to make love unless it happens in satin sheets, and by that I mean on nature, like on a beach, in the woods, on top of the stove, etc.

Well once again, thank you for your comment. I kindly apologized if I shared to much... I'm trying to write less, it takes time but, like Trump says, I'm making such an unbelievable progress and enjoying my time with you as well.
