Tema: A Virtual "Torre de Babel"

I wonder if an open-mindedly thinker has ever been assaulted at one time by deep thoughts of how the language started.

Was there a primitive language?

Why is it that today we have so many and different languages?

Is there one superior to the other?

Why some of them during the passing of centuries disappeared?

I am certain that many are capable to openly discuss some of these questions, and even offer a documented answer. Those who have read the Bible have seen in “Genesis” the narration of the origin of the Tower of Babel and the story behind the use of one language, a language able to communicate amongst all to reach heaven and maybe live in a new Paradise. I could spend enormous amount of time and effort following the sequence of facts in this story.

Not my position. My purpose and/or line of thoughts are aimed into another direction.

An idea has opened my thoughts and divert it in a different trend, giving an opportunity to "place your finger" on an open gash of freedom in literature, philosophy or any other level where your knowledge is limited due to the lack of understanding of other languages. A concept to discuss… Possibly a new “mastermind”? Or just a wish upon a star?

The Yahweh or "mastermind" of confusion cited in the Bible is nowadays known as Internet, the modern "Yahweh" in this new Tower of Babel. Whereby modern technology divided and organized the new Babylonia creating and distributing DNS (Domain Name System) amongst private entities, government, networks and countries. I wonder if one of these days people will be able to talk, read, share and understand the "genius" reachable behind a cultural universe expressed through his/her own native language using an alternative DNS?

A virtual "Torre de Babel". A challenge in technology, with characters that would conquer the world in wisdom and interaction, all connected through a universal language, a comeback of Paradise in time, a new version of DNS. Not only to “create” but to “understand” the essence of life and the reason to love, live and interact amongst ourselves. I would summarize all the above, by expressing optimism in a puzzle wherein everybody could fit its own piece and foresee the Universe through a one and only understandable and readable language.

Do you think that an artificial language could be better and more perfect that the natural ones? Would it serve its purpose in the Universe? Just thinking, just a respectful and soothing proposal circulating my mind not to limit the universe like originally was intended, but to expand and use a language that would maybe, just maybe, be the beginning of an insightful of cultures and revelation of love, peace and who knows what else by wishing a more prosperous long life in the existent spectrum of disastrous engineers and architects building in this century an Inferno Tower, instead of a Heavenly Tower.

I close the exposition of my thoughts for the time being, it might turn into a very long history....

I understand now why some of the banks are in trouble I went into the local Bank of America on Fri. for some info. I told the clerk I needed to know if they sold gold coins ( I wasnt sure if they did) He said oh yes we have some of the new gold president coins. I then told no I want a real gold coin and not the play things He calls over the Manager and I get the same story he told me. After I explained to her I was looking for prices on "Gold Coins" I think she understood and told me no. Maybe we will make it out of this mess but no sure :D

Thank you so mucho Cesar for taking your time in reading and, indeed, express such a profound comment. Esperanto did not progress, it was just a "try-out", grammar and lexicon are relatively unfamiliar, and absent of the real meaning of the essence of a smile. My writing is a "wish upon a star" . The need for love, understanding and a sincere welfare for humanity full of hope and patience is an unreachable Tower of Babel. Receive as always, a big hug. CRIS
