I come and find your name from time to time
To remind myself that you are really gone and won't come back
So much love and lust in our last night.
I know you want to be with me but you can't
Fear takes over your soul and won't let anything else thrive
Kind smile, soft hands. I can feel your love when you say "be mine"
"I want to steal you away, I want to run far away"
Your wife, the love of your life
Things I can't provide.
Your one and only, my true love.
Why is it so hard to understand freedom?
"Live and love freely", you thought you taught it to me
But that's the way I was born to be
Maybe you'll come back, or maybe you have accepted our destiny,
But darling
You know better than anyone that we don't know what the future will bring

 

No unfortunately sometimes we fall in love with people that can provide everything for us except their freedom.
I think sometimes love "sucks" lol, sorry not very diplomatic on my part, but true. We long for love, we crave it
and then it arrives at a very high price...
