longing for poetry

My thoughts
come and go and I write some gently,
with love, for you my dear lady.

I meet you every day
even when not sleeping I dream of you
because you make me long for what your heart sings.

I somehow feel at home
when I’m plugged in, perhaps,
you are my smile in poetry.

This is wonderful,
I hear poetry and witness love
it moves around me...

Hi Gus,
things are going well in that...department…
and even if my health in poetry isn’t the best
for some years I’ve been fortunate to share it with her
and her smile gives me an overwhelming confidence, still..
I know I struggle in every part or word of my curious poetry.

at least not yet, just as a journey of a lifetime and perhaps after that.
