No Solace in Quantum (Mechanics) - Sonnet

A strange, perplexing realm, a kook’s desire.
A dance of figments, let a pair mean one!
A convoluted construct filled with fire,
The atom cage where reason comes undone.

Almighty math supports this cruel spoof
Of fancy dreams where light is but a clown.
It is our mirror, stuffed with minds aloof,
The vacuous tomb of kings without a crown.

A spooky photon laughing from afar
Just blinked, and wags its tail right out of sight.
Have we just seen a massless superstar,
A quantum god on its majestic flight?

Let common sense devour this sick mirage
That Einstein called charade, a weird montage.​
