Feel your life thru your breath

The blade of the grass catches your eye

Far away you hear the sound of other creatures

Life different than you

Life as the giver of life designed

the sun warms your skin and sweat beads remind you that you are alive

full of life and Invincible

Taste the salt of life

It is love that makes you feel alive


Run

Wind blows thru your hair

Look at the clouds in the sky

know the singularity you are

run with your eyes wide open

 

I congratulate you on your precious poem, dear friend and poet Flor de agosto.
They are not simple orders that you give to those who should enjoy the beauty of life,
they are constructive advice. Running is the action with which we can enjoy the charm
of loving life.

I used to like to run. I read that you wrote poems in English so I came running. I don't know who your favorite poets are, but let me recommend one of mine, Sandra Cisneros (no relation, although I wish) her style is very loose and free here is a sample of her writings,

Thanks for the visit!! I don’t have a specific poet I’m hooked on. I love free verse and prose. It is more the play on words that intrigues me. How a word becomes alive with emotion, Or a description can become a window with a view.
Certainly, Sandra Cisneros is amazing, but so are you. I admire the ability To capture the readers attention because as a poet you provide a view.
