I long to fly away into the depths of the clouds
But watches keep moving
Time doesn't stand still
In the core of my mended heart
Lies fire that is never asleep

I push through the storm
Through the fire and rain
TIme is burning away
Slowly into the mysterious shadows of grey

On my knees
Between the wind of cold
Between the crystal ice and shadows of the world
The sweet lunacy surrounds my being
I surrender to my insanity
But never to torment and storm

The cold has spread into the depths of my heart
Cold has brought me together and torn me apart
I now run away once again
Killing the darkness lying deep inside myself

Feeling my throbing heart to the beat of insanity
Feeling the wind in my hair and the cold in my hands
Seeking to forsake the places I've once known
