El primer abrazo tuyo
lo quería transitorio,
pero, sin explicaciones
se quedo puesto.
No le dí esencias
pero de lo cósmico
transmitió bienestar y simples inquietudes
con heroicos actos y flores.
Mujercita morena,
buscar suaves letras
me da errantes,
flotantes desafíos
que repican cantos
de besar un par de tus prodigios.
Tu presencia quita palabras,
da emoción, ancho ser y sonrojos
que orquestan suspirar y huesos.
Tienes mucho no sé qué
Often I am going to enable more English into my everyday writings so that something within my brain will get rewired again. I often think that, perhaps, my English speaking friends feel left out or easily forgotten by my day-to-day Spanish ramblings. I believe that if I keep on writing ninety nine point nine nine percent of the time in my native language, eventually, I will alienate myself from this beautiful language I so much enjoy to read. After many years have gone by and breathing the fresh air from this tiny part of the universe called Oregón, for sure, I have learned some English, good and bad as well.

Our first embrace
I wanted it to be fleeting,
yet, without reason It stayed on me.
I gave it no essence,
but from the cosmos
It brought calm, simple unrest,
with acts of braveness and flowers.
Brown young woman,
my search for soft letters
gives me wandering,
floating challenges
that echo chants
of kissing a pair of your gifts.
Your essence takes my words,
gives emotion, a wider existence,
brings color to my face,
It is like an orchestration of sighs and bones.
You have a lot of who knows what,
with a smile, light shines on the days,
and when you greet us,
surroundings are joyful and,
in relation, you ask why people are smiling.
I wanted it to be fleeting,
yet, without reason It stayed on me.
