Poeta afligido; peligro conseguido

Brilla el sol en la noche
y las náuseas invaden mi cuerpo
y el vómito desgarra mi garganta
y la sangre sale de mi boca y
recorre la carretera mojada.
Siento que mi alma al fin se libera
de sus ásperas cadenas,
y corriendo se va y desaparece,
recorriendo las calles, junto con
mis entrañas.​

Mis ojos ya no ven lo que hay al frente,
aunque nunca lo han hecho,
aunque si lo hicieran no verían más que negro,
no por la noche pesada o por la tristeza
ni la soledad, es un negro que no puedo
explicar, es un negro que consigo trae
solo frío, y mi piel se eriza, y mis vellos
