Pronto se irá la luz,
y tú sigues allí...,
aguardando la comitiva
que nunca llega...

Llueve...
y tú, mitigando la espera,
apoyas de nuevo la frente
en la mojada corteza del tronco
tras el que ocultas tu pena.

Luego, sí...
A lo lejos se escucha
murmullo apagado de gentes
y rumores de pasos sobre las piedras.

¡Ya se dibuja el cortejo en la loma.
Grises los cielos del fondo
tras de las siluetas negras!

¡La llevan a ella!...
¡En hombros!...
