Dos estados del alba

Amanece con plomo
en las paredes de la intimidad,
donde hoy habita el hielo.
También el día es triste
en los espacios
helados de la casa.
La grama del jardín
se ha agostado en los picos
cortantes del termómetro.
Las plantas gimotean, en silencio,
una tristeza persistente
y mis ojos no encuentran en el mar
el bálsamo que el alma necesita.

Quisiera estar dormido, nuevamente,
y sólo despertar cuando pudiera
