Verso alejandrino

Buenas, tenía una duda respecto a esta frase:

El carácter es como el acróstico o la estrofa alejandrina: puede leerse desde el principio, desde el final o en cruz: siempre dice lo mismo

Y es que no sé a qué se refiere porque no entiendo de qué otra forma se pueden leer sin que digan lo mismo.

Gracias por la ayuda que me puedan prestar, aunque es una duda bastante trivial.

 

Bien, los que puedes leer son versos alejandrinos, que se encuentran conformados por dos hemistiquios (mitades).

Puedes leer sólo un hemistiquio, o como desees.

ESCRIBÍ EL MEJOR DE MIS POEMAS​

Pintamos a la tarde con toda sensatez,
cogí tu mismo pliego midiendo la maqueta
pudimos escribir con índole discreta,
el óptimo poema; mi pluma en solidez,


con tinta de tu estuche, marcó la validez
en tiempo y en espacio, trazamos una meta:
dejar huella imborrable, la muestra del poeta,
pendiente irá en tu pecho mi obsequio en desnudez…


Con ritmo y con cadencia pusiste el primer verso,
