suspended on the lid of a solitary thought
running to your side.​

A second is three days away
I cannot wait.

I am me in the absence of me,
arriving in your arms
loosing ground within your stance
forming easily in your embrace
graceless in the kindness
of embellished touch,
slowly drowning in your scent
sound within your hands.
It is the same hour of always
at this time.​
