Silence...

Today was the day.
We remember the departed.
Those who died, without so much as a word.

With duct tape on my mouth.
Flyers in my hand.
To honor those children,
the ones who were murdered.

- "You don't know what's it's like"
They say to me.
Tears in my eyes, my vision gets blurred.

- "It's the mother's choice"
I hear… again and again….
Don't they see,
that's totally absurd?

Why is it the mother's decision?
Between life and death.
Is it a law that I haven't heard?

- "I can't have a baby right now."
As if timing justifies abortion......
As if it actually mattered.

4,000 babies a day.
Will never see the sunlight.
Their days were always numbered.

So I will be silent.
With "Life" across my mouth.
A simple wish...
one hopefully honored.

 

A very painful subject to write about.
It takes courage to protest such staunch views.

I never have thinking in let the medicine , just onece When a law pro-abort in my country want to be aproved.

This beautiful and pure poem make me remember the indicnation and anger that i felt in that moment and i still feeling for the women wich make this crime.
I want to give a congratulation to you for this shake to the human concience, soft but strong like the claim from a baby.
