Escudo de Andalucía​

"La Asamblea de Ronda de 1.918, para acordar el escudo de Andalucía, se inspiró en el de Cádiz, cabecera de nuestro pueblo, después de Tartessos, en los tiempos primitivos; símbolo también adecuado para la expresada obra de restaurar un País, siempre cultural; figurando un Hércules juvenil, expresión de la fuerza eternamente joven del Espíritu, domando o coordinando la fuerza instintiva de los estímulos animales, representada por dos leones; e inscribiendo al pie del escudo esta leyenda: ANDALUCIA, POR SI, PARA ESPAÑA Y LA HUMANIDAD".​
