Has llorado esperando,
has orado suplicando,
pues llevas en tu alma una ilusión,
le dedicas cantos de alegría,
cantando cada uno de tus días,
pues tu fe desborda de tu alma,
esperando, esperando,
una ansia que de repente desespera,
y la bendición aún no se te ha dado,
en tus brazos has deseado,
ver un ángel tendido,
en silencio dormido,
los años pasan,
tus manos se cansan
tus labios y tus ojos se secan
