In My Dreams​

Tonight like every night
I will see you in my dreams
In that secret place reserved only for you​

Tonight I will feel your kiss upon my lips
Your touch upon my skin
And I will love you again, in my dreams​

In the middle of the night
I will once again hear your voice
And in my dreams I will fall in love…again​

When I close my eyes I dream of you
I feel your caress in my heart
And it almost feels as if you are here​

But then…cruel comes the morning
And with the light of day
Once again you go away​

Daylight steals you from me

The verses that you has expressed are marvelous,,,

I have a problem with the poems in this language, because they never respected the metric, but their writing this well delimited,,,

Winterfairy!, I'm glad you were able to post again so soon, and let me tell you that this poem is absolutley amazing. I enjoyed every word of it, and the way you express things with such an amazing flow of emotions is great. The theme is quite sad, but so believable, and that's why I loved it.

I am so glad you liked it, believe it or not this poem just came to me in the middle of the night and it is based on reality Lost love, haven't seen him in over twenty years and all I have left is the memory of what once was. You never forget your first love
