There is a pressure in my lungs
the darkest voice inside my head
is telling me not to run
to the place they all call death.

The shadows mourn as they fall
in the famine of my chasm
dressed of silver and gold
they laugh at me with sarcasm.

Will there be something that lasts
longer than mi life will be?

Nobody can see the scars

Will they last eternally?

Treads in the garden of evil
heaven can’t forgive your pain
let patience become your fever
as time floods your final train.

Some people think it's a very sad poem but I don't find it so sad myself. I just wanted it to sound strong.

! Your poem was absolutely awesome, and I think that the fact that it is in english gives it a lot of strength.

Many times people doesn't understand sad poetry, but it's only a way of getting pain outside of our minds (and I think it's the best!)

You're right, people often associate sad poetry with the words "ugly" or "mental disease"...that is sad.

The word itself has a deeper meaning. Sadness means beauty sometimes.
