    Life wasn’t so easy,
    At first.
Why did it have to be so complicated.
    The dreaming, I mean.

    Always on track,
    Meaningless stories,
    Looking for a fact,
    Behind al of those memories.

    And then comes this girl,
    With no purpose.
    Blind, striking bombs,
    And shoots for some meaning.

    She’s swimming uphill,
    Striving.
    She does have the will,
    For surviving.

    But life’s got a plan,
    It does have a meaning,
Even broken hearts have a ban,
Just as long as you are willing.

    So carry on,
    Keep up the good work,
Don’t think god will take long,
But trying is half the job.

    And evenings came and went,
    With all those sad hopes,
    Enemies were lurking within,
    Seeking their daily feed.

But Andrea knew how to sort the rocks,
    How to avoid them,
    Even if life sometimes sucks,
    She will emerge victorious.

    Bolivar, Junio 2022.
    Dedicado a mi hermana Andy.

That "swimming uphill" metaphor (rather than a mundane "swimming upstream") did it for me. Minimalist, yet pretty cool. I would use a question mark right after "complicated", and replace "al" with "all" after "Behind".

    Cheers.
