    Waiting for nothing to happen,
Constantly conniving for the next step
    That isn’t there.
So I have contrived a purpose with no meaning,
A hope with an impossible fulfillment.
When will daydreams turn to bitterness?
Tears drying on a face of stone.
Probably not as long as I think.
    Faster than I can handle.
I have changed, but who will notice?
I need you to notice. To tell me what I already know.
    I hurt.
Hurt to love, hurt to cry. Hurt to be human.
    Hate to be human.
Life goes on. Well I feel it.
    Moving slow, going fast.
Dragging on memories unadulterated, yet pointless.
Oh it was no dream, but where is the balance?
Longing for the stabbing recollections to fade?
Or frantically grasping strands of remembrance,
    Terrified to let go.

So, Yo Pecador, you caught on to me. No conclusion. Just ironic. But your right you know. Thanks for your comment.

Que buen poema me gustó mucho! Si es desesperante querer ser notado por alguien y que esa persona te ignore :( duele bastante la verdad pero hay que seguir adelante, la vida sigue y nuevas personas llegarán! Excelente poema saludos! :)

if you've changed and you notice, that's the most important thing, at least I see it that way... keep on writing, keep on, straight ahead...

Your optimism is so very refreshing, which is something that lacks in the world today. Thank you for your kind encouragement Ice Princess.

What wisdom in your words. Sadly as your wisdom shows you also know the impossibility of being rational in certain situations. Happily we all wake up eventually. If not we can continue to write depressing poems finding joy in making others depressed by reading them. Hehehe. Take care boy.
