sandrilla

crying in the fauces of the darkest night,
for my egyptian queen tears of shrine and blood.
in the time the river blesses with his flood,
there's nothing but nightmare for this ancient knight!

she flew to a kingdom in time far away,
to help her monarch to escape from the mazes.
our sun became moon: duality of faces...
for this anguished soul there wont be a new day.

shed the salt of pain and burn me to the ash,
you almighty gods of the corageous nile!
kill within my spirit her eternal smile,
and let my flesh to perish under your slash!

oh, let me fly away to a distant star,
with her oblivion as my forever mate.
reminiscing her every second my fate...
my queen sandrilla, so close and still so far!

Ricardo, Talk about an epic poem! You could base a whole movie on your loaded verses that have such a good rhythm. Really enjoyed.
