    Tomé tu beso en mi mano,
    fui en busca de la eternidad
    y le pedí -Hazlo inmortal,
    pero me respondió -Muy frágil.    ​



    Subí hasta el cielo
    y le pedí – Hazlo estrella,
    se encogió de hombros y me dijo
    -Pero no brilla.    ​



    Bajé al mismísimo infierno
    y le pedí al fuego
    -Hazlo llamarada,
    sonriendo me dijo – pero no arde.    ​



    Busqué al ruiseñor
    y le pedí -Hazlo trino,
    y él, apenado me dijo
