    I’m writing this note
    while I'm at Washburne café,
drinking my Latte and listening to music.

It feels a bit strange, but it's also relaxing for me.
I've been doing this, ever since I started walking
and could smell the coffee from several blocks away.

It's a sunny day and there are
many people inside this busy place,
but I still feel as if I am all by myself.
I take a sip of my drink and look around.
The way I'm writing feels different, but I enjoy
listening to people talking, even if they sound more
like buzzing bees or loud whispering than regular voices.

    There are many pretty women,
yet in my mind, there is one that stands out to me.
The beauty of her smile and demeanor is so captivating
that it gives me the sensation of reading a poem, even when I am not.

I like this poem because it is a story too.
Places like the one you mention here, are full of stories and all of them deserve that someone like you can write them.
Sensitive people can see poetry and stories everywhere.
You have a sensitive point of view about the things around you, my friend.
It was a real pleasure to read you this morning.
Merry Christmas again and a big hug from this summer south.

    Dear poet and friend,
I am finally able to catch up with responding to the comments people share with me about my poetry. The weather has been cold lately, so I keep warm by drinking coffee, at home or Washburne, and frequently wearing my large coat. Sometimes I think that it might be a good idea to be somewhere else or relocate there during the winter, but currently, I am unable to do so.

This coffee joint appears to be a gathering spot where I often encounter many of my coworkers when I am not working or on vacation. Despite the noise, the atmosphere is still relaxing, and the majority of individuals present, who are either reading, chatting, or typing on their laptops, are very friendly. You are correct; everything, every person, every place, and even the environment has its own story.

    Take care. Blessings.!

    Fidel Guerra.
