we shall

I hope we
become steadfast correspondents,
perhaps we
meet and drink up a coffee or beer.

For me, we
are like an open heart, closed for valentines,
yet, we
hear our voices writing to the light, at night.

Oh dear, I’ve felt or think I’ve been visited
by a bird of love or past echoes of best days.

A veces, pasan esas cosas, el pasado nos visita de alguna manera con esos recuerdos que nos zarandean,para anunciarnos que aún hay tiempo de seguir creando otros mejores.
Un poema muy bonito, con un final dulce, tierno.

 

Hotarubi,
gracias por la visita y por dedicarme un poco de tu tiempo al escribir tu comentario. Y estoy de acuerdo, de vez en cuando es bueno hacer una pausa para probar nuestra capacidad de adaptación a los cambios. El pasado, exquisito o no, siempre está junto a nosotros, como algunas plantas o hierbas que bordean los caminos y que asi se fumiguen o se les ponga asfalto por encima surgen y he ahi la maravilla del ser flexible….asi como reaccionó el comediante Chris Rock ante tremenda cachetada….con calma y con una sonrisa que más encabronó al agresor, Will Smith.

It can't be denied, dear Fidel, that love has reasons that reason dosn't understand. And even if you have not realized it, all of this is produced and felt by those who are in love. Don't close your heart to her and wait to see what happens. I wish you both the best you have in your hearts.

Some days I’m awake or inspired that I have been for a long, long time.
