    Yaocihuatl, mujer de jade.
    ¿Qué haces con el corazón puesto
    en el cielo de la agonía, atravesado
    con cuchillo de obsidiana?.

    Yaocihuatl que esperas al ocaso
    con tus ojitos de serpiente
    y deambulas en pies de águila
    como canto de cenzontle.
    ¡Niña de guerras eternas¡

    Lloras los lloros del recuerdo
    y buscas flores de pantano
    ¡Mujercita de cuatro lunas!
    El sol se opaca en tu regazo
    el viento te besa los huesos.
