Ad Libitum

Poeta recién llegado
"And still here I am

broken and breaking,
cracking and crashing,
falling and failing,
wandering wondering
how.

How
can
you
be
there

not cracking not crashing,
not crumbling not crying,

just living and leaving
your blame
to the rats.

How could all your guilt
penetrate my body in such a way
that I've carried it all
since then forever

how can you just
wake up in the morning
every single day,
smile to the mirror,
smile to your daughter,
and walk away

through that same fucking door

as if nothing
had
ever
happened
there."

Dear poet and friend "ad lib.",

There are those who say that the pain of indifference is worse than forgetfulness. Strategically distributed your good verses. A great question which answer you leave to the reader.

With my congratulations, my brotherly embrace,

Ulpiano
