Bareness by Deliverance

Distance’s brilliance is enshrined slowly,

while the mares from within are growing,

no messiahs or religion,

I see victims of superstition.


Who were deceived only for submission,

they eternally by prayers will drowse.


And I behold no gods to die for,

but if from your words:

“God is inside, within thy heart”.

So, for whom I've been lying, lord?


Blinded may thou walk,

but without a blindfold,

perhaps thou shall fall.


This ransom of knowledge owns me,

but emptiness has killed the faith,

setting me free, from myself.
