Christmas Eve

Tonight is Christmas Eve,
and what once used to make me smile and dream
is tonight but a reminder of my loneliness.
You came in one door and walked out the other.

And here I am, looking through a window
into the darkness beyond.
Hoping against hope to see you come back
and knowing in my soul that you won’t.

The ghost of sadness has a grip on my heart.
My phone doesn’t ring.
There is no knock at the door.
“Merry Christmas my love” I hear no more…

 

That was sooooo sad for a time of happiness that we are living!. Merry christmas winterfairyy!, you will always have a friend here!-
