when I try to touch you
and there's nothing

when I want to have you near me
and you're far away from here


I mourn you

when I look at the sky
and I can't find you

when I have a secret
and I can't tell it to you

when I walk down the streets
and all of them have your face



I mourn you.

And I can't continue living
if you're not here,
my friend.

 

Oh what sadness in your verses. The word mourn is so very powerful, so very intense. The sence of emptiness that it leaves after its utterance is cold and heavy, like your poem that you so beautifully and tragically have produced. Thank you for sharing it with us.
