CONUNDRUM

Last night the rain came
tapping against my window
it reminded me of my dreams.
The darkness came as well
in the focus of my own gaze
I forget, I regret not going
my own path many years ago.
Is it too late to restart the trip?
Then the answer comes
gliding across the yard
stumbling in a paper boat
in the puddles made by the rain.

.
I feel that you have the magic of turning a CONUNDRUM into a beautiful poem, my unforgettable friend Lupita (Sorry for skipping protocol, but you know how much I admire Lilita and how much I like to use the names she calls her friends)
You catch the reader, who asks himself the question: "Will I know the answer?"
You have the answer since when you were a girl, when you played with that paper boat in the rain, whicht for the children, who have fun with it, is one of the best of her enviable childhood.
You still have time: life begins from the moment you begin to realize your own dreams. Restart your path in your little paper boat: today it has become a huge cruise ship or, perhaps, a powerful ocean liner, which will take you along the paths you have longed for since you began to have the use of reason.

Another big and fraternal hug,

Ramiro

What would this answer be like? "IT'S NEVER TOO LATE" Write it down on the paper boat!
