    El valor de una mirada


    Aún recuerdo tu inocente mirada,

    la que me decía a gritos que te abrazara un momento;

    esa que me pedía te abriese mis brazos y te estrechara

    contra mi pecho para olvidar todo sufrimento.


    Aquella tierna mirada que me decía no me dejes,

    contigo es posible compartir todo lo anhelado;

    noche tras noche he soñado, que pasará cuando te alejes

    cuan dificil cambio para mí, pués te amo y te necesito a mi lado.


    Aquella mirada llena de tristeza, quizá temor

    que humedeció inmediatamente tus ojos negros

    y brillantes a cusa del dolor

    que aún centellean no pocas veces mimemoria

    condenando mi mente insensata con fervor

    e impacienta constantemente este tonto corazón.
