Por ser mi vida un azar,
pues no nací por antojo
sino por el avatar
de haber tenido tal suerte
entre un sinnúmero igual,
nada ofende mi imperioso
placer de significar
más que el nunca haber nacido;
y eso es premio, bien o mal.
Por tanto: festejo vida,
festejo amor, soledad,
contento, melancolía,
la fortuna y la pobreza.
A la dicha y la desdicha,
