Hallucinating (prose)

I am tired the brain is heavy with the black letter of the law and debris fall in splintered layers from the thin glass of my eyes. I want to sleep. I am ill prepared to feel what I feel, admit that it is more than I can say for myself and take to my name.

All evades me and I want for the simplest thing - just simply to sleep in the deepest of slumbers, sleep for one day. I want for a day where mind and self are one piece and I can remove your cufflinks while you read. I want a simple thing that is not at all simple, but brings everything else into place, making little sense - growing all the sense in my head. My mind stops on that: a corny cliché, a simple thought, complicating the day –I want to sleep in your arms, unwary. One day, some day. Some day.
