Welcome to Iberia
you will have the holiday of your dreams
the sun awaits you with open arms
to fuck you in the ass
you'll have to fight your own civil war
without any sense
anaesthetise yourself to choose between two sides
and put on a good face like a fool
the goats will stare at you undaunted
your mind will be full of bombs
you won't know where your left hand is
or your right hand from so much cheese and ham
the sun will turn you brown up to your eyebrows
the beaches will be full of geeks
eating paella sandwiches and drinking cheap wine
the broken record will be playing again
with any slogan in its grooves.

Hola Lupe, en ese poema hablo un poco de Iberia (España) eternamente dividida en fachas y rojos, manipulados por el discurso de turno como si no se hubiera superado la Guerra Civil nunca, usando también algunos tópicos. Salutes. Gracias por tu interés

Igual no resulta bien en inglés esa frase, moreno hasta las cejas es como todo quemado de moreno de tanto tomar el Sol; "hasta las cejas" es una expresión que se usa mucho aquí en España; por ejemplo: "Me he puesto hasta las cejas de beber"; que estás muy borracho o "estoy hasta las cejas de comer jamón" etc.
