    I COULD...

I could write yet another poem...
I could - but, who would listen to me, anyway...?
I could cry my eyes out, but what would that change...?
I could sit there and stare into the nothing,
    I could wander in despair...
I could, but - who would even care...?

I could maybe answer your questions...
The Universe wants your doing, so write. What you write will be read.
If your tears need to be spread through out your papers, let them. You´ll feel much better then.
Do what you wish, or nothing. It´s up to you. You´ll find your own answer for your sorrow.
We will wait for you to read your masterpieces. Be good. JANA73

You know that I write - and I write mostly about sorrow. This is sometimes only an artistic convention, an inspiration to me - the drama of life, the tragedy of the existence - and only sometimes, not always, it is what I really feel at the moment... When I feel sad, I write at my best. In order to write a happy poem and write it really well, ingeniously, I would have to be very very happy, to the extreme, so that the happiness is just too much to bear and it cries to be spoken out in verse - just as it is the case with extreme sorrow, unfortunate love or any other tragical event or situation... Otherwise, my poetry lacks its spirit; it lacks soul and emotion - which is precisely what makes a good poem; one that you will want to read all over again and again. If there is emotion, there are also appropriate words - you'll always find them - or, rather, they will find you - for the words will simply come to your mind as you write your poem when strong emotions are present - and what's stronger than the depth of human despair? Stronger perhaps than our joy when we are happy is our sorrow when we feel it, when we experience it - and this is why I find it particularly inspiring; this is why sorrow is a never ending source of poetical genius, of beauty... ;-)

    Greetings! ;-)

When there is no hope, no nothing and yet you could write a poem for the pleasure of writing for the most special person in the universe, you.
I think, that I would do.
