I'm a Passing bird

We go, like this, passing through the planet:
You, triumphant, channeled towards the goal;
I, with no other illusion than my desires,
sterilely dreaming of being a poet.


When I look at you, you get confused and shudder
as if you knew my secret passion;
and stop admiring you is not possible,
affable lady with restless attitude.


I don't know when you're smiling or sad...
Our discreet voice does not answer me,
nor your pupils - that pair of lights -
neither your juicy and perky mouth.
