    Muy jóvenes éramos
    cuando, cierto día,
    los dos nos juramos
    amor de por vida.

    Fue en aquella banca
    del florido parque,
    donde te besaba
    numerosas tardes.

    La banca que hacía
    nuestro amor el suyo
    cobijo ofrecía
    con su dulce arrullo.

    Luego la distancia
    decidió el destino
    que se interpusiera
    en nuestros caminos.

    El tiempo escribió
    en su viejo libro
    un sentido adiós
    con letras de olvido.

    Marchitas las flores,
    la banca vacía,
    de antiguos amores,
    muy triste suspira.

    Y guarda el secreto,
    entre hojas caídas,
    de hermosos momentos
    que fueron mi vida.
