Mentir nunca es bueno, pero si se trata de un recurso, tal vez resulte aceptable, yo me imagino que es tan sólo una metáfora que has usado (muy bien) para este poema. Quien miente a sabiendas, ya sabe que el primer engañado es uno mismo, y eso luego cuesta mucho borrarlo.
