open struggle

Even if we don’t talk much, I’m thankful
I had the time I had with you, and it makes me proud
that you trusted me with many things so important to you.

Right now, I’m in the struggle of finding the words to put into this conversation
and I won’t deny it, I would love finding myself sitting next to you,
somewhere struggling to find the words for our conversation.

Now that you have opened to me
I don’t worry about anything, not even
about crazy Vladimir Putin. ​

 

There are moments of words, and moments of silence.
If you are with the right person, every moment can be magic, or peace
I tell again that I like reading you in English, Fidel.

I’m thankful my poem is worthy of your attention,
so damn lucky to enjoy your first poetic mark. But this is not about
the first comment, either about the first spot, it’s much more than that, it’s a fragment of your life.

Well, the feeling of writing in English it's different, but as in Spanish,
I'm simple as always. Indeed, there are times for words and silence
and those other moments of whispered tones of love and care.

This poem made me feel strange, head tilted, unsure about posting it, but
it has been decided. So, I return your “I like reading you in English” too. because
I feel the same about you.

you just showed up, out of nowhere, like a coyote, but here we are, how are you doing bro?

 

I'm good, you know... busy doing my thing at work for ten or eleven hours a day, and in my brakes
pulling somebody's leg... just for fun. Healthy and happy trying to not fall again for Clari...
same old, same old.

I am glad you are doing fine.
You know, if for any reason you do not feel alright, eating asparagus,
strumming a guitar, and singing a soft song, even if you do not know how to do any of these, is good for your soul.
Working is good, but having fun makes it much better. Stay clear rather than fall for Claridad, hombre.
I have to go to Portland, the city of roses, tomorrow morning via Interstate 5, 150 miles north. So, I have to wake up early. Good night, bro. I need to sleep in order to have a nice and safe trip back and forth.
