¡qué hermosa era!
el viento le despeinaba el cabello al volver a casa
a 70 millas por hora en el volswagen convertible
quién sabe qué se pudría debajo de su piel dorada
quién sabe por qué no le dijo nada a nadie
yo aún veo su cara echada hacia atrás y su pelo bailando al viento
y las dos hileras de sus dientes me muerden el corazón
fue entonces cuando debo haber perdido el rumbo
allá en california el verano del 89
beatriz acabó en el cementerio y a mí la vida se me atardeció
y desde entonces sólo fue de tarde
