Ni siquiera me había percatado de su ausencia​

Hasta hace poco creía que aun me acompañaba.​

El olor grato de su esencia,​

de fruta fresca aun colgada de la rama,​

creía percibirlo esta mañana.​

Me engañaba un olfato ​

que aún no detecta el hedor ​

de una vejez que se ha metido​

con el sigilo de gato callejero agradecido.​

Y como aun rondan bulliciosos​

tantos inquietos ideales que de tiempo atrás ​

circulan por lo sinuosos callejones del cerebro​

creí que aun ella, esa juventud que los alienta,​

quien los pario, cultivo y había imaginado,​

estaba con su porte señorial aquí a mi lado.​

¿Que hacer de ahora en adelante​
