SUEÑOS DE POETA​

Que sueño tan placentero, de un despertar ligero​

De trabajador petrolero, en poeta sincero​

Como no hablar del ser más querido y placentero​

Que Dios me la dio, en el camino veraniego​

Su corazón cautivó mi alma, errante y vagabunda​

Con su cabellera ondulante, como palma costera​

Derretías mi pasión como sol a la panela​

Pasando por medio de jóvenes en montonera​

​

Que muchacha tan linda, gritaban en coro de ratonera​

Como brisa refrescante para mi alma atormentada​
