to a twinkle like you

I’ve been writing
like a young poet, tirelessly,
yet, many poems go unnoticed.

I returned home
dreaming that you care
but you really are something else.

Even if you don’t care
it’s a satisfaction to me when
a distant like appears at the scene.

How long will I go as a poet
would be difficult to say. Even so,
since you are that twinkle like star,
pleasure of mine, what choice do I have?

There is a saying, "when at first you don't succeed try again" perhaps she doesn't understand poetry and therefore doesn't see the importance.

Guadalupe,
sometimes we write and write or lay eggs like those industrial chickens, without real feelings and, unfortunately, their huevos make breakfast taste different. But then there comes a moment or a comment, como el de vos, que nos ayuda a simplificar la misión, lo que hacemos and reminds us why we do what we do as poets, even as a poet, like me, who used to risen goats, chickens, ducks and pigs for a living. I will follow your advice, my gut feeling and the notion that there is hope.
