Este melancólico estado

no termina con la tristeza,

el corazón débil y agobiado

mucho menos con la pereza;

la lluvia de mis ojos,

mis párpados edematosos,

aún a pesar de la destreza

ya sus raices se han hecho abrojos.


Mis pupilas opacas,

mis obligadas sonrisas;

mis músculos debilitados,

mis costillas flacas,

mis condenadas prisas,

mis anhelos limitados.


Todos ellos aún su precio

me reclaman con firmeza;
