Winter Is Cold

WINTER IS COLD


Winter is cold, winter is chill,
when winter is gone
a warmth in my bones I feel.

When the sky is grey
and the sun has no ray,
when the clouds appear
you know winter is here.

And when I look at the tree,
and its leaves are falling,
when I look at its bones,
and they're withering
and cracking and mourning.

It makes me think of the man,
whose life on his back like a burden,
will make him wonder
and yearn for the years,
when life was a cinch,
and the days without hurting.

Thank you, this is a poem i wrote about...mmm ten years ago, when a friend called and asked me to write (a school project) for him something that compared something in nature to something in humans (i forgot what the term is:::sonreir1::: ), but i did this in about...15 minutes, i like it, i am glad you did too, thanks again, gracias:::sonreir1::: .
