Yo mismo, ya nada me cambia

Ahora que mi alma es un mar en calma
No diré nada en mi contra que me perjudique,
En su momento me prometí y a mí mismo me dije
Que éste soy yo y ya nada me cambia,
No romperé mis promesas, no faltaré a mis palabras,
No romperé mi pasado, viviré mi presente con calma.

El futuro es un desconocido
Pero estoy seguro que con el tiempo
Llegaremos a ser amigos;
Y aún con las rodillas ensangrentadas,
Besaré la piedra que me hizo tropezar,
Y la lanzaré lejos, esperando no verla nunca más
Aunque alguna se quedaría en mi piel enterrada,
Y seguiré mi camino, aunque sea a gatas,
Porque éste soy yo y ya nadie me cambia.

Me he equivocado en muchas cosas
Y por estas mucho he sufrido
Pero esto era lo mejor para mí,
