    El errante y la princesa ​



    Erase una noche de luna llena
    de aquellas que el alma se embelesa,
    para cuando una princesa de ojos de lucero
    se perdió en los lares de un lejano pueblo.    ​


    ¡Oh! mis penas y desaires
    a un pueblo he dado,¡ suerte infame!
    si tan solo en el paramo hubiese quedado,
    este sufrimiento, no ahogaría mas mi llanto!    ​



    ¿ De que llora bella niña?
    -se oye de una voz algo lejos-
    acaso usted se encuentra acaso perdida,
    ¿ o es solo, una pena de esas de amores sin salida?    ​



    No es ni un desamor ni un camino errado
    es mi destino enfermo, por un hechizo malvado
    la oscuridad en mi corazón, su nido ha creado
